Sticks and Bones Bbq burst onto the scene in the last year, with Chef & Owner Nicki at the helm.


Born & raised in Geelong she started the business after returning home from years as executive chef for a large vessel fleet in Europe. She wanted to create something different & ever changing to fulfil her creative & daring nature.


Sticks and Bones was born... with a silver creek meat smoker & 1950ʼs Carapark Caravan in tow, the dream was a reality.


7 years ago Nicki discovered the process of ‘Smokingʼ Meats and Veg over 100% wood while working in a kitchen in Canada. Always knowing she would run a small business it was a light bulb moment of THIS IS IT! Spending the next 3 years traveling the world tasting the best the smoking world had to offer.. America, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, Japan. Since launching the business on the 31st of December 2018 it has been non stop & itʼs just getting bigger!


We have 3 pillars with in the brand, Sticks and Bones bbq (Smoked Meats) Sticks and Bones Japan (Smoked Japanese) and Sticks and Stems (Smoked 100% Vegan Offering). Having the 3 options means we can literally cater ANY event! 


From Nicki: ‘Spending years working in kitchens with chefs who despise allergies & life choices, I knew starting the Sticks and Bones brand I would ensure there would be something for everyone. No judgment, just good service! Very exciting times ahead, 2nd Caravan almost complete & a restaurant just around the corner. We have such a busy summer ahead with weddings, music festivals, birthdays & endless events.
